Yishun is home to the famous Chong Pang Nasi Lemak, a nearly 4 decade old establishment serving some of the best Nasi Lemak in Singapore.Nasi Lemak, which literally translates to creamed rice, is a popular Malay dish consisting of rice cooked in coconut cream together with various accompanying meats. Thanks to a steady flow of customers, dishes are periodically topped up unlike other shops where the food is left out in the cold for hours. Some of the highlights include the shop’s original Sambal Chili, homemade Otak (spicy fish cake) and their extra large and freshly fried chicken. Of course, the price are pretty reasonable as well
